| I have started doing some kind of armouring about 1998, while I was still in elementary school. The first piece I have made was a scale coat with beer-bottle caps hammered into scales. Then, a couple of years later, the firs CoP, helm, and spaulders saw daylight. Most of my inspiration comes from this. Lamps, lanterns, jewelery, and everything else I make draws most of inspiration from late medieval plate. I draw well enouhg to suit my own needs, but it is far from good professional form. Most of drawings here, are rough designs of things that might or might not ever be made, concepts and ideas related to armour, SF, EF and (neo-/goth-)medieval design. Among them, some other, more personal things should show up from time to time. You can see my works in progress and some other stuff that don't deserve their place in the main gallery, in my scrapbook. |

The world is a part of me ... and I of it ... my consciousness is of the universe ... and shaped by it ... the magic is a part of me ... and a part of us all ...
As for armouring, apart from getting a ton of books starting with "Techniques of Medieval Armor Reproduction" I can strongly recommend visiting [link] Then you'll get the basic idea of what tools you need there. Half of this job is knowing how to work metal, the other half is knowing what tools to use for what.

I murmured a vow of silence and now
I don't even hear when I think aloud...
Extinguished by light I turn on the night
Wear its darkness with an empty smile...
